Ruby M. Krunich Ruby A. Mong Krunich died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. Funeral service was held Friday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Barberton, Ohio, with Russ Shreiner officiating. Interment was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m. at West End United Methodist Church in Wytheville with the Rev. Rick Lindamood officiating. Born in Barberton, Ohio, she was a resident of Barberton for most of her life. She was a member of First Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, her church and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander; parents, Leo and Rosa Mong; two brothers, Porter Mong and Clark Mong; and two sisters, Thelma Buckio and Hazel Zaveson. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Mary Frances of Wytheville; grandchildren and spouses, Teresa and Mike Dunford, and Blaine and Cathy Krunich; four great-grandchildren and spouses, Crystal and Jarrod Sawyers, Robbie and Jessica Krunich, Lori Krunich and Brittany Krunich; and two great-great-grandchildren. Highland Funeral Service in Wytheville is making the local courtesy announcement.
