Stella Nichols Terry

Terry Stella Nichols Terry, 69, died on Dec. 2, 2010, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Terry; great-granddaughter, Toni Plummer; great-grandsons, John Albert Terry Jr., and Noah Lamie. Survivors include her daughters, Angela Faye Lamie of Glade Spring, Mary Elizabeth Wilson of Sugar Grove, Melissa Kell Stevens of Rich Valley, Kathy Lynn Barlow of Chilhowie, and Ruby Lee Holmes of Saltville; her sons, Richard Garland Terry of Chilhowie, Donald Winston Terry of Chilhowie, and Ronald Thomas Terry of Chilhowie; sister, Charlotte Thomas of Ohio; grandchildren, William D. Lamie, Angie Thomas, Jason Sizemore, Scott Stables, Timothy Stables, Justin Terry, April Nicole Ellis, Lucy L. Terry, Nellie F. Plummer, Richard M. Terry, John Albert Terry, and Everett Wayne Terry; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Shirley Brown. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Benny Frye officiating. Burial followed in the Elizabeth Cemetery. Robert Lamie, Kris Stevens, Junior Smith, Joey Ellis, Jimmy Ray Brown, Walter Robinson, Dan Ludford, and Jason Barlow served as pallbearers.
