Thomas Pearman Obituary

Thomas E. Pearman Sr. Thomas Edward Pearman Sr., 89, of Max Meadows died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Reese Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Mike Ingo and Kenneth Quesenberry officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. He was born March 5, 1921, in Wythe County, son of the late James and Hannah Davidson Pearman. He attended Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane McCroskey; two sisters, Dorothy Sharp and Lou Segraves; and three brothers, Bill Pearman, Gene Pearman and Belford Pearman. Survivors include his wife, Alma Dean Pearman of Max Meadows; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Jr. and Jolene Pearman of Max Meadows; six grandchildren, Brian and Heather Pearman of Wytheville, Connie Stoval, Angie McCroskey, Nathan McCroskey, Timmy McCroskey and Bengi McCroskey, all of Logansville, Ga.; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.

I knew thomas and his family his mother & my Grand mother were sisters.I remember visiting the family when i was a small boy .May God bless each one in this time of need . Martin Crowder

Thomas is my first cousin. His mother and my father were siblings. Unfortunately I did not know Thomas, though my sisters did. My condolences to his family. I would love for someone in his family to contact me.

I grew up with Thomas and played with him in The Bottom in Austinville. Sorry to hear of his death and extend condolences to his family.
