Thomas "Bob" Elliott Jr.

Elliott Thomas "Bob" Elliott Jr., 73, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at his home in Marion. He was born May 6, 1937, in Smyth County to the late Thomas and Lois Elliott and was a retired corrections officer. Survivors include his wife, Donna Farmer Elliott of Marion; one daughter, Kim Reasoner and husband, Scott, of Greenwood Village, Colo.; two sons, Robert Elliott of Knoxville, Tenn., and Chris Elliott of Roswell, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Amanda Terry and husband, Ricky, of Chilhowie and Jessica Heath of Kingsport, Tenn.; one stepson, Joshua Heath of Marion; four grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial followed in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery in Chilhowie.
