Uva Rose Hampton Sheets Uva Rose Hampton Sheets, age 75 of Burkes Garden, VA, died Thurs., Sept. 30, 2010 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, VA. Born May 23, 1935 at War, WV, she was a daughter of the late John and Lennis Rutherford Hampton. She was formerly employed at Tazewell Farm Bureau Store. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jackie Lee Crouse and Richard Wayne Crouse; two sisters, Edna Critser, and Mae Bayless. Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Babe" Sheets; one brother, Buck Hampton of Tampa, FL; several nieces, nephews; special cousins Jamie and David Asbury of Burkes Garden, VA. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Fri., Oct. 1, 2010 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with the Rev. Roy Lee Smith officiating. Burial followed at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Relatives and friends served as pallbearers. The family received friends at the funeral home after 12:00 noon on Friday.
