Vance R. Six Vance Rudolph "Roho" Six, 71, of Wytheville died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010. A graveside service was held Thursday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. at Mt. View Cemetery in the Cove community with the Rev. Kevin Fiorini officiating. He was born Dec. 20, 1938, son of the late William Jacob and Virginia Trinkle Chandler Six. He was retired from the H.T. Bowling Co. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Brunk Six; three daughters, Carolyn Paulson and husband, Jeff, of North Carolina, Connie Kitts and husband, Todd, of Wytheville, Amanda Six and boyfriend, Chip Stanley, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Six and Kishea of Wytheville; three sisters, Ola Mae Chandler and Beatrice Chandler, both of Rural Retreat, and Thelma Carter of Wytheville; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.

Gladys,
I'm so sorry we couldn't be there for the services. I was on the road headed for Houston when I got the news. He will surely be missed by his many friends. This nephew will surely miss him and never forget him.
