Easley Zella (Sissie) Easley, 100, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at Mercerville Center in Mercerville, N.J. Born to the late James and Mary Lyons Easley, she was a member of Marion Baptist Church and was a graduate of Athens, W.Va., High School. She moved to Princeton, W.Va., to work at Celanese Corporation in 1943 and retired in 1973 and moved to Marion where she lived until 2001 when she moved to New Jersey to be with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Estelle White, a brother-in-law, Fred White, and three brothers, Bernard M., James, and Billie Easley. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Evelyn Easley of Trenton, N.J.; two nieces, Connie Papp and husband, Robert, of Hamilton, N.J., and Linda Smith and husband, Charles, of Fallsington, Penn.; two nephews, Bernard Easley and wife, Philomena, of Fairless Hills, Penn., and Kenneth Easley and wife, Mary Ann, of Morrisville, Penn.; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; four great-great-nieces; six great-great-nephews and one on the way, with whom she enjoyed spending time; and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Mausoleum, Marion. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
