Amon, Sinda - Fairborn  
FAIRBORN — Sinda Amon age 63 of Fairborn passed away on January 19, 2015. She was born the daughter of Sigal & Margie (Baker) Johnson on December 4, 1951 in Hazard, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Dan Amon. She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, and a grandson Dominick Hurley. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. Sinda will always be remembered for her bright and friendly smile as she welcomed patrons at Frisch's Big Boy for many years. In her free time she enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, and traveling. Friends may call on Burcham Jennings Funeral Home 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio 45324 on Friday January 23, 2014 from 10AM-11AM where funeral services will begin at 11AM. Cordial, Dorothy - Fairborn  
FAIRBORN — Dorothy L. "Dot" Cordial, age 87 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday January 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 14, 1927 in Ashland, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ernest and Nannie (Wright) Jordan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and two brothers, Adam and Lowell Jordan. She is survived by a daughter, Jean (Richard) Robinson of Miamisburg; a son, William Cordial of Bellbrook; two grandchildren, Ashley (Patrick) Lane of Columbus, OH, Matthew Cordial of Tempe, AZ; great-grandson, Joseph Lane; two sisters, Garnet Dillon of Fairborn, Edith Spriggs of Florida; two brothers, Leo (Linda) Jordan of Huber Heights, Richard (Patricia) Jordan of Huber Heights; as well as many nieces and nephews. She loved and adored all of her family and will be missed by many. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Phyllis Shoenleben, Angie Weaver, Linda Lee, Summer Watts, and Pat Eifert for their loving care over the last few years. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Chris Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Cotterman, Barry - Fairborn  
FAIRBORN — Barry W. Cotterman, age 61 of Fairborn passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at his home after a long battle with ALS. He was born the son of Wilbur and Kathleen (Byers) Cotterman on October 17, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio. Barry is preceded in death by his parents, sister Karen Ledbetter, and granddaughter Makenzie Grace Cotterman. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Melinda (Lykins) Cotterman, sons Chris (Jennifer) Cotterman of New Carlisle, Craig (Jenica) Cotterman of Oreana, Illinois, daughter Brandy (Jeremy) Lay of Mansfield, 10 grandchildren: Courtney, Maddix, Emily, Capri, Conor, Gabrielle, Cooper, Brennan, Orion, Maia, sister Connie (Jim) Bittner of Enon, brother-in-law Larry (Dianne) Ledbetter of Concord, North Carolina, and nieces and nephew. Barry worked for General Motors from 1972-2005, where he retired as a group leader. He was a member of Faircreek Church in Fairborn. He was also a certified scuba diver and was an avid drag racer at Kil-Kare Speedway for 14 years. He enjoyed camping with family and friends, traveling, water-skiing, and biking. Barry was active in raising funds and awareness for The ALS Association and was an inspiration to all he met with his infectious smile and determined spirit. Barry was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone at Hospice of Dayton, The ALS Association-Central and Southern Ohio Chapter, and Burcham Jennings Funeral Home. Friends are welcomed to join in a Celebration of Life, held at Faircreek Church in Fairborn on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00p. FAIRBORN — Barbara A. Cox, age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Friday January 23, 2015 in the Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 24, 1933 in Champaign Co., Ohio, the daughter of the late Quinten and Lulu (Zerkle) Schaffer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2008; infant daughter, Floretta; two brothers, Junior and Carroll Schaffer; and two sisters, Janet and Juanita Schaffer. She is survived by four children, Dawn Thomas of Fairborn, Daphne (Tim) Kemplin of Fairborn, Shelda Cox of Fairborn, Kelly (Alene) Cox of Georgia; five grandchildren, Justin (Erica) Levi (Laura), Micah, Hannah (Jacob), Paul; three great-grandchildren, Audrey, Marley, Anna; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A funeral service will be held on Monday January 26, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Minister Steven Sisco officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. She was member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Xenia, OH, active with the Women's Prayer Club and loved her flowers. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Raymond) McDonald; grandchildren, Mike and Johnny McDonald, Sandy Tissandier, Kevin and David Elliott and Loretta Church; great grandchildren, Heather Brooks, Dareyl Elliott, Macey, Kiah, Addi, Sean and Kaylan Tissandier, Alec, Ryan, Sean, Matt and Lauren McDonald and Brian Elliott. Great great grandchildren, Aiden McDonald, Adara, Hunter and Ruben Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilbur Elliott; sons, Wilbur Gene Elliott and Joe Elliott; a grandson, Dennis Elliott; great granddaughter Linda Elliott; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers. Farley, Isreal - Jamestown  
JAMESTOWN — Israel Farley, 85, of Jamestown passed away at his home on Thursday January 15, 2015. Mr. Farley was born in Macon, Georgia on December 15, 1929, the son of Israel and Sally (Young) Farley. He worked as a construction worker and married to Cora Willie (Crabbe) Farley. Israel is survived by seven children: Aaron (Karen) Farley of New York; Richard (Rosalynd) Farley of Maryland; Denise Farley, Cindy Farley, Scott Farley and Tracy Farley, of Jamestown and Dennis (Angela) Farley of Queens, New York. He is also survived by his sisters: Christine Johnson, Patricia Wilson, Mary Ann Farley, Victoria Samuel; numerous granchildren and several great-grand children. Funeral Services will be 9:00 A.M. on Saturday January 24, 2015 at First Zion Baptist Church in Jamestown, Ohio. Burial will be at Silvercreek II Cemetery, Jamestown. SPRINGFIELD — Stephen Kennedy Fletcher was born on May 5, 1946 in Springfield, OH and passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, January 19, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at: Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road Beavercreek, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Claire Fletcher of Bowersville, OH and brother Timothy Fletcher of Reesville, OH. He is survived by his children Cindy Lynn Fletcher-Usrey (Tod), Jacqueline Lynn Martin (Jeffrey), Darlene Renee Embly (Gregory), and grandchildren: Gavin Kennedy Usrey, Ethan David Usrey, Sophia Jacqueline Usrey, Ava Elizabeth Usrey, Blaice Martin, Trinity Martin, Jayden Martin and Joshua Embly. He is also survived by his beloved sister Marna (Robert) Sanctis and nephews: Matthew (Leslie) Sanctis, Joseph (Meghan) Sanctis and Andrew Sanctis all of Beavercreek, OH, as well as numerous friends. Stephen was a long-standing member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Xenia, OH, Moose Lodge 73 in Beavercreek, OH, and AMVETS Post 14 in Xenia, OH. FAIRBORN — Mary E. Frame of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2015 at the age of 86 in home under the loving care of her husband and hospice. She was born on January 3, 1929 in Glenville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Minter and Myrtle (Connor) Mowery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two beloved sons, Dallas and Bill Mowery; and ten brothers and sisters. Mary's surviving family includes her devote and loving husband of 45 years, John; three children, son, Oscar Moon and his children Brian and Stephanie; daughter, Katherine Walters and her children Elizabeth and Krystal; son, John L. Frame and his children John, Jacob and Julianna; Bill Mowery's children, Gloria, Caroline, and William (Billy); Dallas Mowery's children, Melinda, Patrice and Debra; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Holly, Gage,Zoey, Kimberly, Nathan, Maria, Cole, Jayden, Brandon, Brianna, Adam, and Olivia. Family and friends are welcomed to gather and celebrate Mary's exceptional life on Sunday January 25, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E.
