Wallen, Peggy - Xenia  
XENIA — Peggy Marie Wallen, 78, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Kettering Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1938, in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Florida and Elda Anna VanHoose Lyons. She was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church, Dayton, and was the owner of Wallen Enterprises. She is survived by her husband, James M. Wallen, whom she married, May 31, 1956, a daughter, Deborah L. Foxbower, Wilmington, two sons, Timothy W. (Lisa) Wallen, and David (Christine) Wallen, all of Xenia, seven grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Wright, Joey (Alison) Wallen, Michael Wallen, Justin (Camden) Wallen, Samantha Wallen, Shelley Foxbower, and Cody Foxbower, four great-grandchildren, Olivia Wright, Parker Wright, Arrianna Wallen, and Lily McHaney, four sisters, Annabelle Puckett, Pikeville, KY, Wanda Peters, Grayson, KY, Linda Spencer, Belleville, MI, and Kaye Hitchcock, Tutor Key, KY, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two sisters, Cora Lee Walters and Faye Preston. Her husband of 60 years was her rock, her true soulmate. She was dedicated to him from the time they were in high school until her last breath. Her family was her world. She was more like a best friend than a grandmother. Nothing made her happier than when all her children and grandkids came over. She loved sewing, coloring in her coloring books, decorating, and singing at her church. She had a personality that was as contagious as her laughter and she made a friend wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 10am, Monday, April 25, at the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church, Dayton, with Pastor Hollie J. VanHoose officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Sunday at the church. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church, 2405 Harshman Rd., Dayton, OH, 45424, in her memory. Wheeler, Anna - Fairborn  
FAIRBORN — Anna Jean Wheeler, 73, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born June 14, 1942 in West Liberty, Kentucky the daughter of the late Andy & Lillian (Coffee) Wright. She retired from General Motors and was a member of the Church of Christ, Fairborn. She is survived by two sons, Michael Wheeler & James Wheeler; a daughter, Tamela (James) Perry; grandchildren, Joe (Lendy), Kori, Shantell, Josh, Jeremy (Klyee), Tyler & Jenni; two sisters, Sue (Delbert) Campbell, Ivetta (Mark) Moorehead; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by a brother, Wade Wright. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Williams, Helen - Xenia  
XENIA — Helen L. Williams 81, passed away Saturday April 30, 2016 in Xenia, Ohio. Helen was born August 11, 1934 in Washington Court House, Ohio the daughter of the late Willy Justice and Flora (Lovenshimer) Justice. Along with her parents Helen is preceded in death by her sister Rosemary Finney and her brother: Walter Justice. Helen is survived by her husband: George H. Williams Jr.; daughter: Denise Williams; sons: Thomas Williams and Roger L. Williams (Stacie); grandchildren: Anthony Savory, Rebekah Long, Amanda Casey, Misty Williams, Lacie Williams, Austin Williams and Dayna Williams. Helen is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Helen was an avid reader and loved bird watching. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday May 5, 2016 at the McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. 826 N. Detroit St. Xenia, Ohio 45385. The family will receive friends Thursday May 5, 2016 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Dayton National Cemetery Dayton, Ohio. Willoughby, Evelyn - Dayton  
DAYTON — Evelyn Willoughby, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton from natural causes. She was born January 19, 1932 in Jacksboro, Tennessee the daughter of the late John and Alice Prater. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Leonard Willoughby; siblings, Juanita Black, Tom Prater, and J. E. Prater. Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Robb and Garry (Tahna) Willoughby; grandchildren, Joshua Willoughby, Alicia Willoughby, and Michael Hoover, as well as numerous other family and friends. A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. FAIRBORN — James F. Wood, 80, of Fairborn died Friday April 22, 2016. A private service was held for the family at Belton-Stroup Funeral Home on Monday April 25 with interment at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fairborn Senior Center.
