XENIA — Bernice K. Landwehr, 83, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Xenia, Ohio, passed away, Monday, February 10, 2014. She was born October 29, 1930, in Sugartree Ridge, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Sarah V. Ferguson Igo. She was a member of Blessed Catharine Drexel Church, and a former member of St. Brigid Church, Xenia. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Gena Hayslip and Cathy (Mike) Devitt, a son and daughter-in-law, Mark (Pam) Landwehr, seven grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Phillip M. Landwehr, on July 25, 2003, and by a sister, Deloris VanZant. Bernice will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Friday, February 14, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
