Carrie Lawrence

BEAVERCREEK — Carrie Edna Lawrence, age 94 of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at Liberty Nursing Center of Jamestown. Carrie was born December 11, 1919 in Greenup, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lace and Maude (Boggs) Pauley. Carrie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman E. Lawrence ; 3 sisters: Evelyn Crawford Hatch, Emma Robbins and Mary Hieneman; and 3 brothers: Carl Pauley; Earl Pauley and Bob Pauley. Carrie is survived by her daughter: Linda Ferguson (Bussie) of Cedarville; son: Norman E. Lawrence Jr. of Florida. Carrie is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Eddie Lawrence III of Alabama; Rick Ferguson of FL; Lisa Russell (Jim) of Columbus, and Julie Jervis (Shawn) of Cedarville,4 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Carrie graduated high school from Jefferson School in Bowersville. Carrie loved cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She and her husband loved traveling the world and in later years, spending the winters in Florida. Carrie's Tulip garden was one of her favorite things to grow. Carrie's family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at Liberty of Jamestown. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday January 8, 2014 at the McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. 826 N. Detroit St. Xenia, Ohio 45385. Family will receive friends Wednesday January 8, 2014 from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville, Ohio.
