Imogene Mercer

WILMINGTON — Imogene Mercer, 82, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Clinton County Senior Citizens Center. She was born October 10, 1931, in Greene County, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Mae Lee. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Mercer Hale (Frank Allen Hale), Franklin, TN, two grandchildren, Dessa Hale and Allison (Robbie) Davis, a sister-in-law, Ellen Wilson, Wilmington, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul L. Mercer, on July 1, 1999, and by three brothers. Imogene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
