Joan Henley

FAIRBORN — Joan A. Henley, age 49 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday February 1, 2014. She was born March 8, 1964 in Dayton, the daughter of William, Sr. and Barbara (Lachowitzer) Henley. Joan was currently employed in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB as a computer engineer. She was a graduate of Baker High School and Wright State University and was active in outdoor drama; locally at Tecumseh and Blue Jacket as well as Young Abe Lincoln in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include her parents of Fairborn; brother, William, Jr. (Christine) Hensley of Fairborn; step-niece and nephews, Nicole, Mathew, and Charles Luedeman; sibling, Robert (Tammy) Burton and their children, Emily, Erica, and Spencer of Fairborn; as well as other extended family and many friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday February 7, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, John Purple officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery.
