Judith Kay Baker

XENIA Judith Kay Baker, age 72, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 in the Emergency Room at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born January 7, 1941 in Yellow Springs, the daughter of James William and Phyllis (McGill) Burba.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law: Eldon Current.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph John Baker, whom she married March 24, 1958; children: Kelly (Mark) Russell of Xenia; Brian J. Baker of Jamestown; and Karri (Ken) Baker-Grant of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother: Gerald (Linda) Burba of Springfield; sisters: Nancy Current of Xenia and Bonita Louise (John) Rife of FL; a very special friends: Virginia Timberlake of Xenia; Lisa Adkins of WV and Kelly Boyer of CA; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Judy enjoyed golfing and gardening. She especially loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family.

A private gathering will be held at McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
