Margaret McCreery

XENIA — Margaret Elaine McCreery (nee Webber), 96, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on June 20, 2014 and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Christ, whom she asked to be her Lord and Savior when she was 10 years old. Visitation will be held at Christ's Church, 3370 Upper Bellbrook Road in Bellbrook, Ohio on Monday, July7th from 9:30-11:00am. Funeral service will also be held at Christ Church immediately following visitation at 11:00am with Pastor Paul Santoro officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. NeeldFuneral Home in Xenia is handling the funeral arrangements. Margaret was born in Antwerp, Ohio to Jedah George and Edith Sanders Webber on May 14, 1918. She graduated from Antwerp High School in 1936 and went on to earn abusiness degree from the International Business School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She and her husband, Robert B.McCreery, founded the Marmac Company of Xenia, Ohio in 1954, where she worked alongside him until she retired. She was involved in Field and Flower Garden Club, the Greene County Republican Party and most importantly, her church (now named Christ's Church). Margaret is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert B. McCreery, her daughter, Jill McCreery Dunlap,and her sister, Elouise Webber Daniels. Margaret is survived and dearly missed by her brother, Jack Webber and his wife, Gloria, three of her children:her daughter Susan Adair and husband Richard Adair of Dallas, Texas, her daughter Sharon Walthall and husband Gary Walthall of Xenia, Ohio and her son Michael McCreery and wife Susan of Woodsboro, Maryland. Her grandchildren are Shawn and Sara Adair of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Robert and Heather (McCreery) Adair of Dallas, Texas, Regan Adair of New York, New York, Levi and Amy(Walthall) Wright of Xenia, Ohio, Lance and Nancy(Walthall) Clark of Ft. Knox, Kentucky, Jason and Sarah (Walthall) Grothjan of Bellbrook, Ohio, A.J. Walthall of Atlanta, Georgia, Tim and Laura (McCreery) Mott of Smithfield, Virginia, Donol and Rachel (McCreery) Emerson of Waynesville, Ohio, and Dallas and Megan (McCreery) Holbrook of Maineville, Ohio. She has 20great-grandchildren: Sam, Joshua, Margaret and Lily Adair, Teagan, Shamus and Ruxten Adair, Samuel, Audrey and George Wright, Eliza Grothjan, McKenzie, Samuel, Aldona and Naomi Mott, Nicholas, Miles and Owen Emerson and Lyla and Stella Holbrook.
