XENIA — Mary Anna Fry of Eaton Rapids, passed away December 27, 2013 at the age of 89. She was born in Xenia, OH, July 30, 1924 the daughter of Joseph and Lulu McCampbell. Mary was a school teacher in Ohio and a third grade teacher at Eaton Rapids. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, loved to read and do needlework. Her passion was teaching. She enjoyed schooling children all year round.
Mary is survived by her sons, John (Bobbie) Sagraves of FL, Max (LouAnn) Sagraves of Onondaga; 5 grandchildren, Theresa (Darin) Dodge, Micah Sagraves, Jennifer (David) Dudgeon, Sheri (Bob) Conn, John Michael (Cori) Sagraves; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Alva Sagraves and Charles Fry; brother, John McCampbell; twin sister, Ruth McCampbell.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday January 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, 9220 Kinneville Rd. Eaton Rapids, with Pastor Scott Boles officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday November 1, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main St. and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.
