Rodney E. Boldman, 67, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, at his residence. He was born April 1, 1945, in Otway, Ohio, the son of Chester and Ruth Boldman. He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Xenia, and was a veteran of the United States Army
, serving during the Vietnam War
. He was employed at Triad GSI, as warehouse manager. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Reed) Boldman, Xenia, whom he married, December 7, 1989, his father, Chester Boldman, West Union, his mother-in-law, Monica Reed, Xenia, by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley Howe, and Sue (Donald) Hoop, and by a brother and sister-in-law, Terry (Carol) Boldman, all of Peebles, Ohio, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Boldman. Rodney will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 195 W. Third St., Xenia, with Rev. Thomas Hite officiating.
