Virginia L. Eichner (Barnes), fondly known by many as "Ginny Lu", 71, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Grandview Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her two children, Theresa Eichner of Spencerport, NY and Nancy Eichner of Rochester, NY, and one brother, Richard A. (Valerie) Barnes of Tipp City, OH. She is also survived by one grandchild, Crystal Dupre, of Bethel, CT., two nieces, Devon (Charlie) LaFever of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Nicole Barnes and her three children, of Fairborn OH., two nephews, Scott Barnes and his three children, of Troy, OH., and James (Chelsea) Barnes and their one child, of Tipp City, OH. Ginny Lu was a member of the Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church in Huber Heights, OH, and the Fairborn Senior Center. Per Ginny Lu's wishes, her body was donated to the Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program at Wright State University. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11 am at Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church, 7505 Taylorsville Rd, Huber Heights, OH. A luncheon will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
