XENIA — Christine Anne "Kris" Lewis, 62, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 21, 1952, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Bob K. and Mary Lee Osborne Downey. She was a member of St. Brigid Church. She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, John W. Lewis, whom she married, November 26, 1969, two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela (Nick) Ritter, Waynesville, and Jennifer (Chris) Paxson, Kettering, a son and daughter-in-law, John (Michelle) Lewis, Xenia, nine "beloved angel" grandchildren, Morgan Lewis, Madison Lewis, Megan Lewis, Maddox Lewis, Jenna Stone, Caleb Paxson, Caitlin Paxson, Alexa Ritter, and Taylor Ritter, by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly (Gregory) Russell and Robin (Dennis) Vaughn, all of Cedarville, and Karol (John) Ficklin, Beavercreek, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Catherine Hatfield. Kris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her and will be waiting to greet all those she considered her "Heaven on Earth". A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Friday, August 29, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., with Rev. John Krumm officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Thursday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery. Contributions may be made to
