XENIA — James T. Finn, 83, of Xenia, formerly of Yellow Springs, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Greene Memorial Hospital. He was born June 26, 1930, in Yellow Springs, Ohio, the son of Thomas and Josephine Phillips Finn. He attended St. Paul Catholic Church, was a member of the Oldtimer's Club, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He retired from Vernay Laboratories. He is survived by two sisters, Margaret "Peg" Hull, and Rita Finn, of Xenia, a sister-in-law, Martha Finn, Yellow Springs, by several nieces and nephews, Douglas W. (Veronica) Hull, Beavercreek, Melissa (Brian ) Neary, Angie (Scott) Beam, Michael J. Hull, all of Xenia, John (Lynne) Finn and Donna Battle, of Yellow Springs, Bob Finn, Fairborn, and Tony (Ana) Finn, Coral Springs FL., by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother, Harold Finn, and by a nephew, Ronald Finn. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am, Friday, December 20, 2013, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd. Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. There will be no visitation.
