James L. Richendollar

BEAVERCREEK James L. Richendollar, age 77 of Beavercreek, passed away July 18, 2013. Jim was born March 20, 1936 in Ironton, OH, the son of the late Raymond and Gaynelle (Aldridge) Richendollar and moved to Dayton in the late 1930s. After graduating from Wilbur Wright High School, he served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jim retired from General Motors in 1997. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronald Riffell and nephew Darren Riffell. Jim is survived by his daughter, Rae (Terry) Metz; sister, Pamela Riffell; niece, Jamie (Riffell) Rogers; nephew, Mark (Jenny) Riffell; grandnieces and nephews, a great-great niece plus many relatives and friends. Jim was a Mason for almost 50 years and an avid outdoor sportsman with many hobbies that he enjoyed sharing with his family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday August 22, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the American Legion Post 526, Legion Lane, Fairborn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Dayton-or-American Legion Post 526, Legion Fund, Fairborn. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
