WASHINGTON CH — William J. Elzey, 82, Chillicothe, formerly of Sabina and Washington CH, died on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the VA Medical Center. Bill was born in Sabina, Ohio on June 8, 1931 the son of the late William H. and Dorothy Anders Elzey. He graduated from Sabina High School in 1949 and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Mac Tool for several years and owned an appliance repair business. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Jean Self Elzey. Bill is survived by his son Tony (Julie) Elzey, grandsons Jordan and Adam-Michael all of Jamestown and one brother Barth Elzey, Washington CH. He was preceded in death by brothers Frank and James. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 12PM at the Littleton Funeral Home with burial in the Sabina Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10am until time of service. A special thank you to the entire staff and caregivers of the Hopewell House, at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center for their years of wonderful compassionate care.
