ENON — Anelida R. Ramirez, age 72 of Enon, passed away Sunday March 30, 2014 in the WPAFB Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1941 in Ojo Frio, Chih., Mexico, the daughter of the late Guillermo and Carmen (Torres) Reyes. Anelida was employed in the childcare field, most recently at the Childhood Development Center on Wright-Patterson AFB. She was a longtime member of Mary, Help of Christians Parish in Fairborn and was active with Women's Aglow. Anelida was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Ruiz; and a brother, Uriel Reyes. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, USAF MSgt. (Ret.) Eligio Ramirez, Jr.; three children, Eligio Ramirez, III of Columbus, Antonio (Gloria) Ramirez of Perrysburg, OH, Veronica (David) Goldsmith of Westerville, OH; six grandchildren, Tony Jr., Katie, Michael, Brandon, Cameron, Jacob; five great-grandchildren, Santino, Tony III, Serena, Alexa, Jaxon; two brothers, Oscar and Juan Reyes; six sisters, Martha, Carolina, Celina, Angie, Norma, Reyna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. The family will receive friends on Friday April 4, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Mary, Help of Christians Church, 954 N. Maple Ave., Fairborn, Father Charles Lang, Celebrant.
