JAMESTOWN — Arthur H. Burba, known to all as "Lum", passed away just before sunrise on Sunday May 13, 2018 at Trinity Nursing Home in Beavercreek, Ohio where he was a patient for the last 2 1/2 weeks. Lum had spent more than 30 days in Miami Valley Hospital over a 3 month period, where he was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. He tried chemo therapy, but the cancer was too aggressive and wide-spread. His hope to survive for 2 years ended at only 2 months. As a young man, Lum developed a love for hunting, fishing, archery and drag racing. The hunting, fishing and archery faded over the years, but not his love for racing and he was often seen at Kil-Kare on Saturday nights, racing his S-10 Chevy pick-up truck. He was born on January 20, 1952 to Arthur E. and A. Elizabeth Burba, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jo Burba of Bowersville; a son, Samuel of Michigan; brother, Wilbur Entsminger (Jan) of South Charleston, Ohio; brother, Greg Burba (Lisa) of Beavercreek, Ohio and sister, Barb Hughes of Paintersville, Ohio.
