BELLBROOK Brent Kurt Miller, 19, of Bellbrook, passed away June 22, 2013. He was born January 31, 1994 in Dayton, the son of Kurt H. and Karen S. (Dice) Miller. He graduated from Bellbrook High School in 2012, where he was well known for brightening the days of the people around him. He was an avid pianist and composer specializing in digital electronic music. Brent was currently enrolled as a Sophomore at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music majoring in Electronic Media. He had his own radio show on the Bearcast campus radio station. He attended Fairhaven Church in Centerville. He loved to travel, and had been to Denmark, France, England, Italy, Germany, Mexico, several Caribbean islands, Canada and Hawaii. Brent is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry R. Dice of Xenia; and his paternal grandmother, Phyllis V. Brown Delaney of Raymore, MO. Brent is survived by his parents, Kurt H. and Karen S. of Bellbrook; his sisters, Breanne D. (Phil) Hunley of Bellbrook and Brandi N. (Doug B.) Ruyle of Colorado Springs, CO. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Imogene R. Dice of Xenia; and his paternal grandfather, Hal V. Miller of Campbell, MO; Scott L. (Mary Ellen) Miller of Shaker Heights, OH; Kathy A. (John R.) Puckett of Beavercreek, OH and a large extended family including the Johannes' and Brown's.
Funeral will be held on 10:30 AM Friday at First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia with Pastors Bill and Matt McFarland officiating. Interment will follow at the Valley View Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church.
