XENIA Dr. Charles Donald Fisher, 76, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan died on September 10, 2013. "Don" Fisher was a native of Xenia, Ohio. He earned his BA from Depauw University, his Ph.D. from University of Washington and received a MBA from Harvard. After completing his education he had a long and successful career as a chemist working as the head of research and development for numerous companies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Zebulon, his brother Mark, and his wife Judith. He is survived by his sisters Beverly Woodford and Marjorie Murphy, his son Charles Fisher (Ann), his daughter Dorothy Darold (Brian) and his three grandsons, Charles (CJ) Fisher and Aaron and Cooper Darold. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, September 14, at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, with Rev. Rick Tettau officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be made to the family at www.NeeldFuneralHome.com.

I have many fond memories of my time spent with Don and the Fisher family. Don has always been a special part of my life and especially the time from first grade thru our senior year. You have my deepest sympathy and may the memories of your time spent with Don help ease the pain of your loss.
