BEAVERCREEK — Irene Louise Sellers age 92, of Beavercreek Ohio passed away Thursday July 17, 2014. She was born in Adlai West Virginia, on September 10, 1921, the youngest child of John Carpenter William and Delphia Mae McCullough. She was a proud graduate of St. Marys High School class of 1938. She married Frank Junior Sellers July 10, 1942 and they raised two children; John and Karen. She was a retiree of Mad River School System having served as Librarian at Page Manor and secretary at Seville. She was a life-long member of the church of Christ and one of the persons present at the first meeting of the Knollwood church of Christ; where she worshipped. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Delphia, a brother Melvin, her husband Frank and Son-in-law Randy Blackaby. She is survived by son John (Becky) Sellers; Daughter Karen Blackaby; sister-in-law Lucille McCullough; nephews Frank (Ruby) Sellers; Douglas (Deanna) McCullough: nieces Carolyn Sellers Ashkar; Mary Ellen (David) Wagner and Susanne (Tom) Tignor. 6 Grandsons also survive Jeff (Sunshine) Sellers of Xenia, OH; John Derron (Brianna) Sellers of Xenia, OH; Joshua (Shaun) Blackaby of Louisville KY; Josiah (Melissa) Blackaby of Beavercreek OH; Ezra (Stephanie) Blackaby of Xenia, OH and Amos Blackaby of Austin, TX. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren. She also considered Daniel (Paula) Ede of Beaumont TX. as family; and to a host of others she was "mom" or "grandma". Visitation will be Tuesday July 22 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. Funeral Services will be Wednesday July 23 at 10:00 am at the same location. Services will be conducted by Keith Greer and Heath Rogers. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers contributions can be made to the Dayton Hospice.
