XENIA Kevin Ray Oliver, age 48, of Xenia went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 29, 2012 after a lengthy battle with liver failure.
He was born May 24, 1964.
He is survived by his mother and father: Sylvia and Bill Oliver; brother: Shawn (Cori) Oliver; sister: Shanna Oliver; Great-grandparents: Eugene and Ethel Reed of Booneville, KY; nieces and nephews: Ashley & Brittany Brown; Chelsea, Alyssa, Austin, Dakota and Paul Chaffins; Justin and Kristin Oliver; great-nieces and nephews; aunts & uncles: Evalee Cope; Peggy and Donald Liming; Alvis Webb Jr.; many cousins and other family members throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ellen and Alvis Webb; Mary Oliver Ramby; Charles Oliver; uncles: Raymond David and Larry James Oliver.
Kevin attended Xenia City Schools and was a manager at Area AAMCO and Brownie, Ohio & Transmaster Transmission Shops over the past 30 years. Kevin was a very kind, generous, and loving soul who was very comical and had a great sense of humor. He loved going to the races at KilKare. He also loved his family and his black lab, Molly Brown.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Ken Day officiating.
