XENIA — Lilian D. Judy, age 92 of South Solon went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born on July 23, 1923 to the late James W. and Henrietta (Smart) Aldridge in London, England. In addition to her parents, Lilian is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin L. Judy and her brother, Jim Aldridge. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Paul W. (Pat) Judy and Ann E. (Mark) Gordin; grandchildren: Tammy (Tony) Kuhnell, Steve (Jodi) Judy, Amy (Dan) Hendy, Jeff (Ashley) Gordin, Beth (Jason) Lamb and Jyl (Sam) Moore; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brothers: Bert (Polly) Aldridge and Roy Aldridge; sister, Belle Parry as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Lilian was raised in England where she met and fell in love with her late husband Marvin during World War II. She left her home and dedicated her life to her faith, her family and her home. She was a very thoughtful and caring woman who loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Lilian was a Godly woman who would often say "Praise the Lord and enjoy His blessings!" She was a member of Grace Community Church in South Solon, Ohio and loved reading her Bible. She supported charities such as the Salvation Army and always had a smile on her face. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Grace Community Church, South Solon with funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm Pastor Bruce Sigman officiating. Burial to follow at Grape Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorial donations be made to Grace Community Church, Hospice of the Miami Valley or Salvation Army in Lilian's honor. Ann, sorry for your loss. Mom in christ will be missed. She will be cherished and close to my heart. Lilian would set and read the Bible with me. I will always love her. She told me the meaning of the 10 CONMANDMENTS. When I look at her home I will always have a warm filling. P T L
