SOUTH CHARLESTON, Ohio — Mary S. Blair, 94, formerly of South Charleston, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 7, 2014. She was born on June 4, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Grace (Brown) Thompson. Mary is preceded in death by her husbands, Alfred Sallettes and John Blair; and siblings, Holly Thompson and William Woodrow Thompson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Jim Smith; grandchildren, Eric (Julia) Smith, Brian (Valerie) Smith and Kelly (Tim) Kuhn; 9 great-grandchildren, Ashlee (Chris) Saunders, Michael Smith, Kevin, Kyle and Zachary Smith and Ross, Hayden, Liam, and Zoe Kuhn; sister, Martha "Margie" DeBold; special friends, Walter Hoffman, Lillian Treat and June and Paul Rammel; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in South Charleston for over 15 years. She retired after 25 years as an administrative secretary at Grandview Hospital and prior to that, her and her first husband owned and operated Main Restaurant in Xenia. Mary loved dogs and enjoyed Reds Ball games and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 10-11a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, South Charleston with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11a.m. Father Anthony Geraci officiating. Burial to follow at St. Brigids Cemetery, Xenia.
