William M. Day (Willie), 66 years old born in Jamestown Ohio September 14, 1947, passed away Tuesday October, 15, 2013 at VA Hospital in Dayton.
The son of Harold Day and Erma (Day) Osburn. His grandparents Emerson and Mable Doster helped raise him and his brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a nephew Joshua Day and a great niece Hailee Day.
He was a Vietnam Vet who served in the Army
Survived by a daughter Shelby (Harold) Day-Vincent, grandchildren Devon Wright, Chase Hensley and D.J. Vincent, great granddaughter Olivia Monroe Morgan, Two Brothers Leroy (Debbie) Day of Xenia, Lamar Day of Bowersville, Nephews Brent, Brad, Chad, Lee, & Adam Day, niece Brook Sandlin, and Girlfriend of nine years Freda Patterson
Willie was best known as a musician who played drums for the Original group called the Questions back in the 60's, and local groups Art Harmon and the Harmonaires and the Just n Time band.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Respective of Willie's wishes there will be no funeral services held, a private memorial for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
