Robert C. Williams, 84, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 2, 1929, in Scioto County, Ohio, the son of James and Elizabeth Crabtree Williams. He retired from the Xenia Foundry. He is survived by his wife, Norma J. (VanDyke) Williams, whom he married on October 6,1949; by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Toby Little, and a son, Robert A. Williams, all of Xenia; three grandchildren, Richard Williams of Marietta, Ga., and Jacob Little and Lindsey (Dustin) Haller of Xenia; three great-grandchildren, Maecee Moon, Jazzmen Williams, and R. J. Williams, and a great-great-grandson, Maeson Moon, all of Georgia; by several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Louise Gullett, Dorothy Graham, Enid Sowell, Joan Begley, and Lenore Williams, and by two brothers, John Williams and Harold Williams. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 24, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
