XENIA — Madeline A. Prindle, 87, of Xenia, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born December 11, 1926, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Anthony and Madeline Jackson Wolf. She was a member of St. Brigid Church, the Xenia Adult Recreation & Service Center, former member of LaSertoma, and a Greene Memorial Hospital "Meals on Wheels" volunteer. She retired after 30 years as a registered nurse at the O.S.S.O Home. Madeline was also a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds. She is survived by nine children and spouses; Mark A. (Mary) Prindle, Jacksonville, FL, Diana C. Prindle, Millersburg, Eric (Kim) Prindle, Beavercreek, Gregory K. (Charlene) Prindle, New Vienna, Angela M. (Frank) Tipton, Xenia, Helen J. (Stephen) Morrow, Beavercreek, Betty J. Hale, California, Frederick A. (Mary) Prindle, Louisville, KY, and Luke D. (Molly) Prindle, Wilmington, 27 grandchildren and spouses; Matthew (Melissa) Prindle, Gary Greene, Billy Joe (Karen) Greene, Yvonne (Danny) Crump, Nicole Prindle, Clint (Kimberly) Prindle, Rebecca Prindle, Emily (Chris) Noehring, Daniel (Rachel) Prindle, Adrian (Kris) Prindle, Joy Prindle, Jennifer Prindle, Kathryn Prindle, Kevin Prindle, Jason Tipton, Amanda Tipton, Allison Tipton, Stephenie Morrow, Cecelia (Matthew) Myers, Elizabeth Morrow, Monica Morrow, Justin Frith, Calib Hale, Jessica (Corey) Heim, Megan Garcia, Madeline Prindle, Caroline Prindle, and Samuel Prindle, 23 great-grandchildren, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel J. Prindle, on November 19, 2007, a son, Robert David Prindle, a sister, Betty Meyers, and by a brother, Herbert Wolf. Madeline will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, with Rev. John Krumm officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
