CEDARVILLE — Bernice Waller age 86, of Cedarville, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Liberty Nursing Center. She was born October 22, 1927 in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Morris and Addie (Ross) Medley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James B. Waller in 1989; daughter: Linda Rader; a son-in-law: Robert "Bob" Sponseller; a granddaughter: Melissa Sponseller; sister: Georgie Freeland; and a brother-in-law: Dale Gladman. She is survived by her daughters: Jean (Larry) Sidle of Xenia; Charlotte (Tad) Elliott of Fairborn and Laura Waller of Xenia; son-in-law: John Rader; sisters: Dessie Beane of Hillsboro; Wanita Gladman of Springfield; a brother: James Medley of Beavercreek; brother-in-law: Junior Freeland of Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt . She was a good cook and very outspoken. Bernice worked as a dietician at Antioch College and Miami Valley Hospital. She also cleaned for private homeowners. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 AM until the time of service at McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Susan Nelson officiating. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the funeral home. She will be interred at North Cemetery in Cedarville.
