XENIA — Nancy Jo Moore, 78, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Hospitality Home East. She was born April 25, 1936, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Snowden and Theresa Noeth McHenry. She was a member of St. Brigid Church and was a long-time employee of Far Oaks Orthopedists in Dayton, and as a youth she worked at the local S.S. Kresge Store. She is survived by a daughter, Kelle Smith, Xenia, a son, Craig Moore, and wife Kelley, Willmington, a sister, Rebecca (Roger) Miller, Jamestown, a brother, David (Frances) McHenry, Issaquah, WA, four beloved grandchildren, Ash Pickering, Zachary Moore, Zane Moore, and Zoey Moore, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by three sisters, Eileen Birch, Martha Jean Finley, and Rosalind "Rosie" McHenry. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Tuesday, June 3, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the St. Brigid Memorial Program, 258 Purcell Ave., Xenia, OH, 45385, in her memory.
