FAIRBORN — Shelby D. Hall, age 70 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday May 30, 2014. He was born November 14, 1943 in Powell Co., KY, the son of the late Millard and Mary (Reed) Hall. Shelby was the owner of Hall's Fence and Deck and a longtime resident of Fairborn. His memberships included the Fairborn Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson; three brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Rachel; three children, Dennis Hall, Mark Hall, Shellie (Kevin) Doyle; four step-children, Robin Slone, Tammy (Dave) Schiller, Tere Lauer, Kevin Reynolds; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, many friends, and his beloved dogs, Cocoa and Bella. The family will receive friends (Today) Tuesday June 3, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Jeff Christmas officiating. The family will also receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
