BEAVERCREEK — Clete Sexton, age 85 of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday August 8, 2014. Clete was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, and after his return from the Pacific, he was employed for 31 years at Wright-Patterson AFB. He met his loving wife of 55 years at the Veteran's Medical Center and married her 9 weeks later! Clete loved to play golf and made many friends around the area with his infectious laugh and lots of golf tips. He loved to play "poker" with old friends at the golf course and all of his kids and grand kids at home. His many trips to Las Vegas with Margy were great fun. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margy Riggs; mother and father, Crate and Daisy; sisters, Irene and Loretta; brothers, Charles and Jimmy. He is survived by his sisters, Geraldine and Nina; and his children (Judi) Bates, (Barb) Isaacs and Clyde Antrobus, (Jeff) and Sharon Sexton, (Katie) and Patrick Becker. He loved his grandchildren; Jennifer, Johnny, Brian Jeffrey (B.J.), Shawna, Benjamin, Zack, Jeremy, Josh and his 10 great grandchildren. Also a special thanks to Cindy Krahn for her friendship over the past few years. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 12, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., Rev. Vernon Hurles officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley.
