XENIA — Virginia P. Flege, 86, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at Greene Oaks Health Center. She was born June 7, 1928, in Paintersville, Ohio, the daughter of Howard S. and Edith Bales Pickering. She was a member of Memorial United Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Aldora Chapter #262, O.E.S. She was formerly employed at Peoples Saving and Loan, Xenia. She is survived by three sisters, Kathryn Pickering, Xenia, Geraldine (Richard) Voorhees, Chicago, IL, and Janet Borton, Xenia, a brother, Roger (Betty) Pickering, Sun City, AZ, special in-laws, Lois (Bob) Luttrell, and Joyce Pickering, all of Xenia, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Donald Flege, on February 26, 2006, a sister, Jean Irene Pickering, and by two brothers, Robert E. Pickering and Max Pickering. Virginia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Monday, August 25, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Kelley W. Shin officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Monday, until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
