Charles P. "Chuck" Volkenand

XENIA Charles P. "Chuck" Volkenand, 67, of Xenia, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at Greene Memorial Hospital. He was born December 2, 1945, in Beavercreek, Ohio, the son of Herman J. and Edwina Fair Volkenand. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from Harrison Radiator, Dayton. He is survived by his wife, Sue (Turner) Volkenand, whom he married, June 21, 1969, a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Amanda, Xenia, six grandchildren, Joshua, Courtney, Cheyenne, Tommy, Jesse, and Kaleb, a sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca J. (Patrick) Shaw, Carlisle, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Herman (Kay) Volkenand, Florida, Gary (Mary Lou) Volkenand, Jamestown, TN, and James (Jeanie) Volkenand, Navarre, FL, a special sister-in-law, Maxine Callahan, Paris, IL, by several nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Jackie and Dan Sherrill, Columbus, and their children, Austen and Morgan, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Chuck will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial services will be held at 10am, Friday, April 12, 2013, at the First Assembly of God, 204 E. Market St., Xenia, with Rev. Ronald Swiger officiating. Contributions may be made to the , P.O.
