JAMESTOWN — Charles M. Taylor, age 80, of Jamestown, OH passed away February 16, 2014. He was born October 13, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Murphy and Lynette Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Deborah Taylor and Glenna Kissick and a son, Charles Todd. Charles is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Campbell Taylor; a sister Marilyn Diss; daughters Linda (Joesph) Eichel, Donna (Kevin) Bicking and Saundra (Mark) Seger; grandchildren Amy, Whitney and Joseph Marshall; Charles (Amanda) and Matthew Bicking; Jonathan and Christopher Seger; Caleb Taylor; MacKenzie Todd Taylor. He had four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles attended Kings Mills Schools and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1956 with degrees in Animal Science and Agronomy. He worked in agri-business all his life and retired from Terra International, Inc. in 1999. Thereafter, he worked seasonally at Sabastian Hill Golf Course in the Pro Shop. Charles was a member of the Jamestown Lions Club and a longtime, faithful member of Cedarville United Presbyterian Church. Charles was an avid sports fan and kept the time clock for the Greeneview High School boys' basketball team for many years. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Cedarville United Presbyterian Church, 30 W. Chillicothe Street, Cedarville, OH from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon with funeral services immediately following. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420 or Cedarville United Presbyterian Church, 30 W. Chillicothe Street, Cedarville, OH 45314.
