XENIA — Joseph Ronald Bickett, age 86 passed away Thursday January 15, 2015 in Xenia, Ohio. Joseph was born April 21, 1928 in Xenia, Ohio the son of the late Joseph Turnball Bickett and Dorothy (Baughn) Bickett. Along with his parents Joseph is preceded in death by his brother: Wendell Bickett; and sisters: Lois Dixon and Joan White. Joseph is survived by his wife: Ina (Richardson) Bickett; sons: Dan Bickett and Doug Bickett (Rebecca); sisters: Janet Bickett and Ruth Shattuck; brother: John R. Bickett; grandchildren: Jeremy Bickett, Joshua Bickett (Mary), Jennifer Dickens (Jonathan), Lance Bickett (Annette), and Aimee Craig (Kevin); great grandchildren: Cohen Bickett, Madilyn Bickett, Hunter Dickens, Remington Dickens, Allianna Bickett, Kendall Bickett and Avery Craig. Joseph is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Joseph was retired from the Morris Bean Company in Cedarville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc. 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Pastor Nathan White officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Joseph's name to American Cancer Society PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123.
