Gaither C. Webster

Mr. Gaither C. Webster, age 80 of East Bend passed away on Friday August 23, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mr. Webster was born on August 21st, 1933 in Stokes County to the late Carl A. Webster and Noba Cranfill Webster.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Webster was preceded in death by a brother Carl Ray Webster.

He was a retired truck driver from Roadway Express with 30 years of service.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years Brenda Webster and beloved pet Flossy of the home; one son Steven Wiles and wife Gina of Walnut Cove; two daughters Judith Flynn of East Bend and Alice Atwell and husband Buster from Pilot Mountain; one sister Mary Frances Turner and husband Edmund of Statesville; eight grandchildren John Flynn and wife Angie, Meredith Southern and husband Chad, Ryan Flynn, September Tuttle and husband Matt, Druid Atwell, Briana Atwell, Casey Horak and husband James, and Courtney Wiles; and eight great grandchildren.

Mr. Webster was an avid fisherman and a handyman to all. He had a great love for family and loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

A graveside service for Mr. Webster was conducted Tuesday August 27th, 2013 at 11am at New Hope Baptist Church of Hamptonville, NC. The family received friends Monday from 6-8pm at Huff Funeral Home.
