WRIGHTSVILLE Edwin B. "Pap" Graham, 90, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Esther D. (Smith) Graham. The couple celebrated 71 years of marriage on January 17, 2013. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Rick Sitler officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Craley Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Dallastown American Legion. Born March 2, 1923, in Lower Windsor Township, he was a son of the late George W. and Lydia Ann (Olewiler) Graham. He was employed with Caterpillar as a machine operator for 25 plus years until his retirement in 1984. A United States Army Veteran of World War II, he served during the Invasion of Normandy. He was a member of the Dallastown American Legion, National Rifle Assoc., and a former member of the Craley Fish & Game Club. He was an avid hunter and trapper, who truly loved being in the outdoors with nature. He played baseball for several years with Conrads and Lucky and later coached Craley Little League, Conrads, and East Prospect Men's Leauge baseball. In addition to his wife, Mr. Graham is survived by three daughters, Vicki R. Howard and husband, Timothy, and Susie E. Flinchbaugh and husband, Michael, both of New Bridgeville, and Bonita L. Sharp and husband, Brian of Windsor; seven grandchildren, Brett Howard and wife, Melissa, Shawn Flinchbaugh and wife, Kelly, Kerri Heiges and husband, Jason, Jason Enfield and wife, Libby, Kaitlyn Sharp, Adam Sharp, and Eric Sharp; seven great-grandchildren, Kade, Braden, Chase, Kody, Kennedy, Kaci, and Logan; two half sisters, Betty Murphy and Etta Ferree; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kristi R. Howard; two brothers, Clyde and Lester Graham; four sisters, Mary Ruby, Dorothy Howard, Elsie Thomas, and Verna Thomas. When my daughter married into the Graham family, I knew she made a wise choice. Pap as the head of that family was an exemplary example of what a loving father, grandfather, and husband should be. He didn't have to claim he was a good man, he lived it for all to see. He "walks on water" in my opinion. What a loss to the family and community in general! Pap, you were and still are AWESOME!!

Ed was the best baseball coach, Brandon loved him. Always enjoyed seeing and talking with Ed. I'm sure he was the best Father, grandfather & husband and you will miss him dearly.
