MECHANICSBURG Lena D. Kinter, 97, of Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg and formerly of Dillsburg, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Village. Services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., April 2, 2015 at the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut Street, Dillsburg. Burial will be in the Dillsburg Cemetery, Mountain Road. A visitation will be held Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service. Kottmyer, William  
ELLIOTTSBURG William "Bill/Butch" Kottmyer, 70, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015, in the Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1944, in York County to the late William "Floyd" and Ethel (Adams) Kottmyer. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Hewitt. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He attended church at Liberty Valley G.M.C. He loved hunting, enjoyed going to hunting camp in Potter County, and walking his dog Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Keebler) Kottmyer; four children, Bridget Long, Connie Wilson, Mark Kottmyer, Melissa Stahl; two brothers, Robert "Bob" Kottmyer, Edward "Hank" Kottmyer; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A public viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA 17047. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Restland Cemetery, Loysville, with the Rev. Marlin Stahl officiating. YORK Earl M. Kiser, 91, of The Haven at Springwood, who was formerly of Glen Rock and Shrewsbury, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Rest Haven-York. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. Otto Mazzoni officiating and Flag Folding and Taps by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no viewing and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mr. Kiser was born in Glen Rock on January 31, 1924, a son of the late Archie J. and Hattie F. (Kiser) Kiser. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, serving as a Seaman First Class. He had been employed for many years with the former Glen Traditions Furniture Company in Glen Rock. He leaves a son, Terry L. Kiser and his wife Connie of Glen Rock; grandchildren, Bridgette Lonas and her husband Michael, and Casey Kiser and his wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin Lonas and Tristan Kiser; and a brother, Harold Kiser. Kessler, Jeffrey T.  
DOVER Jeffrey T. Kessler, beloved father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on March 25, 2015. A man who was quick with a joke and always had an encouraging word, he will be greatly missed. He has reunited in heaven with his wife, Dorothy Frigm Kessler. He took extreme pride in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching them grow and become successful men and women. Jeff was thoroughly interested in politics and religion and enjoyed watching politicians act like preachers and preachers act like politicians. He loved Tony Bennett and was quite light on his feet in his younger days. An excellent conversationalist, he had quite a draw from the ladies. He married the love of his life, Dottie Kessler. Together, they raised a wonderful family. He taught us to never give up, to keep trying, to look on the good side of things. He had a lifelong love affair with a good Pennsylvania Dutch meal. He also took pride in his military service in the Army. Member of the United Lutheran Church. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Rohlers Assembly of God Church, 751 Rohlers Church Road, Dover. Jeffrey is survived by a son, Kevin W. Kessler of Boiling Springs; stepchildren, Carol Emswiler, Bobby Hilbert, Beth Hoskins, and William Price, all of York, and Melinda Dillon of Dover; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maureen Denman of Bryson City, N.C. GEORGETOWN, DE Mr. Paul M. Krug, formerly of Thomasville, PA, passed away on March 22, 2015 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He was 75 years old. Mr. Krug was born on September 1, 1939 in Hanover to the late Paul and Evelyn Emlet Krug. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Preston Trucking and was a former Hanover Police Officer. He loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rita Brown Krug; four children, Debra, Steven, Cheryl and Lori; one brother, John Krug; along with eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; as well as many extended family and friends. DOVER Betty J. Keister, 91, entered into rest at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Fred D. Keister who passed away on May 10, 1992. They were married for 46 years. Born August 8, 1923, in York, Betty was a daughter of the late H. Paul and Elizabeth (Morningstar) Goodling. She retired following 20 years of service as an inspector for Excello Shirt Factory in York. Betty enjoyed painting and crocheting and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty is survived by three children, Norma J. Diehl of Dover, Joyce E. Murphy and husband, Peter, and Gary L. Keister and wife, Mary, all of Lewisberry; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine Leathery of York. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Sipe, Stella Howison and Miriam Sterner; and a brother, Henry Goodling. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Betty's funeral service at 10 a.m. and the viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. SPRY Virginia E. Keyworth, 98, entered into rest Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward T. Keyworth, Jr. The service will be private. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting the family. Mrs. Keyworth was born March 21, 1917, in Lemoyne, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Bertha (Hoopes) Clark. She had been employed at Bernstein's Sewing Factory. Virginia is survived by grandchildren, Lisa Reisinger, Theresa Alfano, and Joseph Alfano; and a stepdaughter, Diane Keyworth. Kiser, David C.  
SEVEN VALLEYS David C. Kiser, 89, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Rest Haven, York. He was the beloved husband of Bessie M. (Grimm) Kiser, with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage on October 2, 2014. Mr. Kiser was born in Shrewsbury, a son of the late Holland C. and Mina E. (Holland) Kiser. He graduated from New Freedom High School in 1943 and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, serving as a Sergeant in the European Theatre of Operations with the 87th Calvary 7th Armored Division. He retired in 1987 as a Security Guard with Black and Decker in Hampstead, Md. following over 35 years of employment with the company. He also had farmed for many years in the Springfield Township area and was a member of St. Peter's Church, Seven Valleys. Besides his wife, he also leaves two sons, Joseph U. Kiser and his wife, Donna, Jeffery S. Kiser and his wife, Mary Ann; and a daughter, Diane M. Kauffman and her husband, Richard, all of Seven Valleys; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl L. Kiser of Hanover. He was predeceased by a son, David C. Kiser Jr. and a sister, Kathleen Staruch. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at St. Peter's Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, with Pastor Thomas Beck and Pastor Kerry Gingerich officiating. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Shrewsbury, with Military Rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, and on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Church. Kocher, Ronald L.  
VACAVILLE, CA A funeral service for Ronald L. Kocher, 78, will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at Vaca Hills Chapel 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville, Calif. Prior to the service, a viewing will begin at 9 a.m. He will be laid to rest at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Ronald was born in Harrisburg, on February 8, 1937, to Hollis and Mary Kocher. He passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, in Vacaville, Calif. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years until his retirement as a Master Sergeant. A mechanic by trade, he could often be found tinkering on old cars in his spare time. Ronald is survived by his sons, Dennis and Randy; daughter, Carol Ward; brother, Duane; and sister, Vivian. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and extended family. Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy, and brother, Carson. Kuduk, Bonnie M.  
MANCHESTER Bonnie M. Kuduk, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital in York. She was the widow of Leonard L. Kuduk. Born July 8, 1947, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late, Lorenzo and Helen (Mowery) Anderson. Bonnie enjoyed playing pool and horseshoes. She loved yard sales and antiquing. In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Boch; sister, Debra Shenk; and brother, Richard Anderson. Surviving Bonnie are her children, William, Robert, Tommy and Jim Boch, and Kevin and Kenneth Kuduk; her brothers, William and Craig Mowery and Fred Anderson; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, March 30, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Inc.
