Giannuzzi, Ralph J.  
YORK Ralph Joseph Giannuzzi, 67, lost his valiant battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. The love of his life, Karen, was by his side. He will be remembered around the world as a loyal, kind, and caring friend. He is survived by his devoted wife, CAPT Karen Laino, USN, Ret.; his mother, Anna; a brother, Robert; sister, Maryann; and several nephews and a niece. Ralph was an accomplished mechanical engineer; holding a patent for the "Rocker Switch using a Star Spring." He was a talented musician, composing musical works for his beloved Karen. They loved cruising and were avid N.Y. Yankees fans. They also enjoyed living and traveling in Europe and the MidEast while serving the nation at NATO for eight years. A memorial mass at St. Patrick Church, York, with inurnment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, will take place in the spring. Goodnight, Bonna K.  
YORK Bonna K. (Mitchell) Goodnight, 66, died Saturday, December 20, 2014, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Keith Goodnight. The funeral service will be 8 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York, with her pastor, the Rev. Dustin Godshall, officiating. Viewing will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. Born in Waynesburg, on October 23, 1948, Bonna was the daughter of the late Fred and Martha (Booth) Mitchell. She was a member of York Grace Brethren Church. Mrs. Goodnight is survived by two sons, Thom Williams, wife, Nina, and daughters, Emily and Rachel, all of Loganville, Ga., and Michael J. Williams, wife, Deb, and daughter, Samantha, all of York; and two sisters, Mary Sherrod and Nancy Janosky. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Mitchell. Graybill, Sandra C.  
YORK Sandra "Sandy" Coralee (Sipe) Graybill, 79, died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at her home. She was the wife of David L. "Coach" Graybill, to whom she was married for 60 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Sandy was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Pauline (Husson) Sipe of Hanover. Sandy worked at Weis Markets until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed shopping for early American style furnishings for her home (especially when she found a great bargain!), watching her favorite crime dramas, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sandy shared her husband's passions for the William Penn Sr. High School athletic programs. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Sandy is survived by her son, Michael and his wife, Lori of Manchester; her daughter, Stacy of York; her son, Jay and his wife, Patricia of Bear, Del.; as well as five grandchildren, all living in the York area; one sister, Patricia "Pat" Dorwart and her husband, David of York; three nieces; and one nephew. Grove, Charlotte V.  
YORK Charlotte V. (Diehl) Grove, 95, died at Manor Care Health Services-Dallastown on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was the wife of A. James Grove, to whom she was married 41 years. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Alma Mae (Doll) Diehl. Charlotte was a former employee of Raub Supply in York and a former tipstaff at the York County Court House. She was a 1937 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. She was a member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ and a former member of the Strand Capital Performing Arts Center. In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Susan Silverman of Oxnard, Calif., and Diana Crowe and her husband, Fred of Coatesville; a son, Charles Edward Blauser and his wife, Donna of Hastings, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Melanie L. Karcher and her husband, Jerrold of Scranton; a step granddaughter; and a step great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mount Rose Ave., York, with the Rev. Robert E. Brown officiating. Friends and guests should meet at the entrance to Mount Rose Cemetery by 12:50 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heidelberg U.C.C., 47 W.
