MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP Brenda J. (Beaverson) Cawley Talley, 60, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at York Hospital. She was the wife of William M. Talley. The couple celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on October 28, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Visitations will be held Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that attendees dress casually for the viewing and the service. The Rev. Robert S. Edmundson will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Winterstown. Mrs. Talley was born in York on January 2, 1955, the daughter of Betty (Graham) Beaverson Kinard Murphy of Red Lion and the late Elwood A. Beaverson. She worked for Perform Group, LLC in York. She was a graduate of York Vo-Tech and Yorktown Business Institute. Mrs. Talley leaves a son, Steven G. Cawley, Jr. and his wife Lauren of Philadelphia; two sisters, Trudy Eaton of Red Lion and Linda J. Gordon (Roger) of Windsor; three stepchildren, Billy Talley, Bobby Talley, and Betsy Desjardins (Tom), all of Maine; along with three generations of nieces and nephews. She also leaves stepbrothers and stepsisters, Henry Kinard of Red Lion, and Maryann Kornbau (Richard) of Windsor, Mary Bull of Brogue, Gary Eaton (Ruth) of Wrightsville, John Eaton (Janet) of Windsor, Donald Eaton (Nancy) of Red Lion, Donaleen Robinson (Cantor) of Stewartstown, Stephen Murphy of Mount Wolf, Rodney Murphy (Kay Clinton) of Brogue, Donald Murphy, Jr. of Red Lion, Rick Murphy of York, Chris Murphy (Kim) of Pottstown. She was preceded in death by two stepfathers, Charles Kinard and Donald Murphy; a stepmother, Maryellen Beaverson; and two brothers-in-law, Dale Eaton and John Hoffmaster. SHREWSBURY Helen Virginia Tucker, 89, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ernest E. Tucker. There will be a viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be 2 p.m. Thursday in George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07653. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on August 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Sims) Furst. Helen was a homemaker who resided in Paramus and Whiting, N.J. before moving to Shrewsbury. She is survived by her son, Scott D. Tucker, and his wife, Roseanne of York; four grandchildren, Brian, Kelsey and Heather Tucker, and Kristi Lambrix; four special great-grandchildren; "special grandchildren," Christine, Janine and Robert, and "adopted daughter," Josephine Krokus. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lambrix.
