Weigle, Anne E.  
NEW OXFORD Anne E. (Young) Weigle, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of Donald K. Weigle to whom she was married for 61 years. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015, at Providence Presbyterian Church, 1215 Church Rd., York, with the Reverend Andy Phillips officiating. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on August 12, 1929, in York, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Arlene (Hake) Young. Anne was a 1947 graduate of William Penn High School. She was a teacher for the York City School District. Anne also worked for the Literacy Council, the Atkins House and held Bible Study and taught reading to female inmates. Along with her husband, Donald, Anne is survived by two sons, John Weigle and his wife, Deb of Elizabeth, NJ and David Weigle and his wife, Kristin of York; two daughters, Katherine Dowling and her husband, Michael of Lewisberry and Rebecca Platts of Dover; five grandchildren, Joseph Platts, Daniel Platts, Jesse Platts Abby Dowling and Sarah Dowling; one great granddaughter, Madilyn Platts; and her brother in law, Robert Weigle and his wife, Mona of North Carolina. Wert, Elsie E.  
DOVER Elsie E. Wert, 80, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. A viewing will be 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at York Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2220 Roosevelt Ave. The funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. at the church with Pastor Morgan Kochenower officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 9:45 a.m. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., West York, is assisting the family. Mrs. Wert was born April 21, 1934, in Pottstown, a daughter of the late Jacob and Helen (Gerber) Kinckiner. She was a member or York Seventh Day Adventist Church. Elsie is survived by her children, Linda Grim, William Wert and his wife, Donna, Beverly Freet and her husband, David, Robin McIntyre and her husband, Ray, John Wert, Veronica Laughman and her husband, Lester, Donald Wert and his wife, Maria, Andrew Wert and his wife, Wanda, Annette Sutton and her husband, Mike, and Steve Wert; 25 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Williams, Larry N.  
YORK Larry N. Williams, 69, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Carol J. (Clark) Williams, with whom he celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on November 26, 2014. Mr. Williams was born in York on January 5, 1946, son of the late Nelson E. and Amy C. (Brenneman) Williams. Larry served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Williamsport Computer College and in 2010 he was honored by YTI as the Oldest Graduate with Perfect Attendance. He was employed as an electrical test technician for the former Tyco-AMP, East Berlin. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Paul N. Williams and his wife, Calyn of Philadelphia, and Matthew C. Williams of York; and a sister, Donna M. (Williams) Pandolfino of Dover. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1569 W. Market St., York. Officiating will be Pastor W. Arthur Grahe. Burial will be in Green Mount Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to the Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York, PA 17404.

Wood, Preston D.  
Preston D. Wood York New Salem Preston Douglas Wood, 19, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Preston was born in York on October 23, 1995. He graduated from Spring Grove High School. Preston was in his element outdoors. He lived to hunt and fish, and enjoyed woodworking. Preston was a loving son and brother who blessed us with his kind heart, humility, and sense of humor. Preston is survived by his loving parents, Robert A. and Susan G. (Erwood) Wood; his brothers, Adam C. Wood, Austin R. Wood, Grayson A. Wood, Robert L. Wood, and Anthony J. Wood; his sisters, Kathryn R. Wood, Therese M. Wood, Susan E. Wood, and Jacquelyn S. (Wood) Cunningham and her husband, Matthew A. Cunningham; his nephew, William J. Cunningham; his niece, Ellie A. Cunningham; and his maternal grandmother, Mildred L. (Erwood) Collatz and husband, Daniel. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, James William Douglas Erwood, Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Louis A. and Mary Johanna Wood. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York. Preston will be laid to rest following the funeral Mass at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery, 3420 N. Susquehanna Trail, York. The John W. Wynegar, Margaret L.  
EAST PROSPECT Margaret L. Wynegar, 79, entered into rest Monday, March 9, 2015, at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Mack R. Wynegar, Jr. who passed away March 16, 2015. Together they celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage. Margaret was born September 3, 1935, in Red Lion, a daughter of the late Robert and Christiana (Graham) Markey. She was a 1953 graduate of Red Lion High School. Margaret is survived by her children, Dixie A. Wynegar, Mack R. Wynegar III and his wife Sandra, Roxie A. Robinson and companion Doug Duncan, and Keith E. Arnold and his wife Kathy. Grandchildren include Chad M. Arnold, Mandy S. Wynegar, Cory L. Robinson, Jerrica R. Wynegar, and Summer L. Wynegar, along with two great-grandsons, Zachariah and Camden. Margaret was the last surviving of four children. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, March 29 at the Canadochly Valley Ambulance Social Hall, 45 S. Main St. in East Prospect. Visitation will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. East York, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to York Cancer Center Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Road, Suite 194, York, PA 17403; or a favorite charity. Margaret was a gentle and loving soul who loved her family and friends deeply. There are so many special memories that we will carry in our hearts. She will be sadly missed.
