Brenda S. Knaub

YORK Brenda S. Knaub, 63, went to be with her Heavenly Father and beloved family peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Margaret E. Moul Home. Born July 12, 1949, in York, she was a 1967 graduate of William Penn High School, and had worked at the former Ammon R. Smith Chevrolet dealership. She was a loving free-spirited woman who loved her family and friends, and also loved to sing and dance. She is now free to do what she loves again in her eternal home. She is survived by her mother, and stepfather, Kenneth and Mary Lou (Bowman) Schwartz, of York; a daughter, Wanda Pennypacker, and her husband Travis, of Mount Wolf; two sons, Phil L. Aubel, and his wife Dina, of Dallastown, and Jeff Aubel, and his husband Jeff Jelly, of Los Angeles; four grandchildren, Kayla, Morgan, Alexa, and Dane; one step grand Daughter, Alysha; a great-grandson, Alexander; two sisters, Lori Morningstar, and her husband Jack, of Mount Wolf, and Edie Bradley, and her husband Monett, of York; three brothers, Steven Hanna, and his wife Sheila, of Etters, Tony Patterson of York, and Rick Hanna, and his wife Bev, of Gettysburg; four stepsisters, two stepbrothers, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father, Roy Hanna, Sr.; a sister, Barbara Holtzinger; a brother, Roy L. Hanna, Jr.; and a niece, Sherry Lynn Wright. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S. George St., York (the former Hahn Home). Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret E. Moul Home, 2050 Barley Road, York PA 17408; or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2040 Linglestown Road, Suite 104, Harrisburg PA 17110.
