Brenna M. Sinclair

COLUMBIA, MD Brenna M. Sinclair, 33, formerly of York, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, while on vacation in North Carolina with her extended family. Born on December 19, 1979, in San Diego, Calif., she was the daughter of William F. and Rebecca C. Sinclair of York. Brenna was a 1997 graduate of Dallastown High School where she participated in orchestra, speech, and debate, and was also a 2001 graduate of the University of South Carolina where she majored in international studies. She was employed as a security clearance adjudicator for the Department of the Air Force and the Department of Defense. In 2011 Brenna was recognized by the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force as Civilian of the Quarter. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Army Capt. Ian (Abbey) M. Sinclair of Leesville, La.;, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a kind, generous, and gentle soul who loved to travel, being around people, theater, music, reading, knitting, and pets. She will remain forever in our hearts and her cheerful uplifting presence will be deeply missed by her family and the many people she has touched through the years. Funeral arrangements were private.
