David E. Dittenhafer

Dittenhafer LOGANVILLE David E. Dittenhafer, 67, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Horn) Dittenhafer, Loganville. On Monday, January 21st, David and Barbara celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. He was born April 30, 1945, in York the son of the late Paul and Anna (Kile) Dittenhafer. David was a carpenter with Novinger, Inc., Harrisburg and a member of Local Union 214, Greater Pennsylvania Regional Council of Carpenters. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Jacobus and a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. David loved antique cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter, Teri Sinclair and husband Justin, Seven Valleys, son, Bradley Dittenhafer, Loganville, grandsons, Coty Sinclair, Seven Valleys, Jacob Dittenhafer, Loganville and Joseph Dittenhafer, York, great granddaughter, Dakota Dittenhafer, York and brother, Paul Dittenhafer, Jr., York. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Dallastown with Rev. Fred A. Walthour officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.
